Women in
Sanctified Homes
A global Christian fellowship where Women gather in faith to uplift, mentor, and walk alongside one another—rooted in God’s Word and strengthened by community.
Mission:
WISH exists to create a sacred space for women to grow spiritually, support one another, and lead lives anchored in faith, love, and purpose. Through prayer, mentorship, leadership development, and heartfelt fellowship, we help women nurture their walk with God and with each other—at home and across the world.
About WISH
Founded in 1999 by Dawne Brown in her family home, Women in Sanctified Homes (WISH) began as a small gathering of faithful women seeking deeper connection, biblical mentorship, and spiritual sisterhood. Over the years, it has blossomed into an international community where women come together each month—virtually and in-person—for powerful prayer, inspired teaching, and shared life experiences.
WISH is more than a ministry—it’s a movement of women committed to walking boldly in faith, lifting one another up, and living out their God-given purpose. From Saturday morning virtual fellowships to local prayer circles, social gatherings, worship events, and international conferences, WISH continues to build bridges of faith and friendship that span the globe.
Whether you're seeking a word of encouragement, a place to grow spiritually, or a circle of women to walk this journey with—you’re welcome here.
Nice to meet you. I’m Dawne.
Dawne Brown is a visionary leader, educator, and spiritual mentor whose life has been dedicated to nurturing both young minds and grown hearts. In 1999, she founded WISH: Women in Sanctified Homes, a Christian fellowship born from a desire to uplift and connect women through the Word of God. For over two decades, Dawne has led WISH with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering faith—hosting monthly virtual gatherings, organizing international events, and most recently, launching a weekly in-person prayer group in Boston. In August 2024, she served as a keynote speaker at the Women’s International Fire and Power Conference in London, sharing her passion for empowering women in Christ.
Outside of her ministry work, Dawne is a seasoned early childhood leader and educational administrator. With a Bachelor's in Business Management, a Master’s in Early Childhood Leadership, and a Postgraduate Degree in Educational Administration, Dawne brings excellence and heart to every role she steps into. As a Program Director for early childhood education programs, she has spent years shaping environments where children and families thrive—always combining structure with a spirit of love and joy. Whether guiding teachers or championing mothers, Dawne leads with purpose and a heart for service.
“Before WISH, I felt like I was walking my faith journey alone. I had church, but I didn’t have sisterhood. From the first virtual meeting, I felt seen, supported, and spiritually renewed. Through Dawne’s leadership and the women here, I’ve grown in my walk with God and gained true friends.”
